Brief Introduction

Thymalin is a low-molecular-weight thymic polypeptide complex extracted from the thymus gland of young calves via mild acid hydrolysis, consisting of a mixture of bioactive short peptides with molecular weight less than 10 kDa. Its core active components include dipeptides Glu-Trp (EW), Lys-Glu (KE) and tripeptide Glu-Asp-Pro (EDP). As a natural peptide bioregulator, Thymalin regulates thymic function and immune homeostasis through epigenetic modulation and immune cell differentiation pathways.
