Brief Introduction:

VIP is a synthetic 28-amino-acid neuropeptide belonging to the secretin/glucagon superfamily, exclusively for laboratory research. It selectively activates VPAC1 and VPAC2 receptors to trigger cAMP signaling cascade. It induces vasodilation and smooth muscle relaxation in blood vessels, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract. It exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting TNF-α, IL-6 and other pro-inflammatory cytokines, balances immune cell differentiation and protects neurons from oxidative damage. It also regulates gastrointestinal secretion, gut-brain axis signal transmission and circadian rhythm, widely applied in neuroimmunology, gastrointestinal physiology, pulmonary inflammation and neuroprotective research.

Main Research Applications:

Vascular & smooth muscle research: Used in cell and animal models to study vasodilation and tracheal/gastrointestinal smooth muscle relaxation mechanisms.
Immune & anti-inflammatory research: Suitable for exploring inflammatory cytokine suppression and Treg cell regulation pathways.
Gut-brain axis research: Applied to investigate intestinal motility, digestive secretion and enteric nerve signal regulation.
Neuroprotective research: For comparative analysis of neuronal anti-apoptosis and central nervous system injury relief effects.

Respiratory inflammation research: Study airway microenvironment improvement and chronic lung inflammation intervention characteristics.

This product is for laboratory research use only. It is not intended for human or animal therapeutic use, clinical trials, or any form of in vivo administration without prior ethical approval and regulatory authorization.
