Brief Introduction:

KPV is a synthetic tripeptide derived from the C-terminal active fragment of α-Melanocyte-Stimulating Hormone, exclusively for laboratory research. It blocks NF-κB signaling pathway to suppress the release of pro-inflammatory factors including TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6, with mild antibacterial activity. Unlike full-length α-MSH, KPV exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects without inducing skin pigmentation or melanocortin-related side reactions. It protects intestinal epithelial barrier, alleviates mucosal inflammatory damage, improves skin inflammatory microenvironment and relieves airway inflammatory response. Widely applied in intestinal inflammation, dermatitis, respiratory inflammation and mucosal immune regulation research.
