Brief Introduction:

Testagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide belonging to the Khavinson organ bioregulator series, exclusively for laboratory research. Unlike receptor-dependent peptides, it can cross cell and nuclear membranes, directly bind chromatin and histone proteins to regulate the transcription of steroidogenic genes in testicular Leydig cells. It upregulates StAR, CYP17A1 and 3β-HSD enzymes to restore testosterone synthesis weakened by aging or oxidative damage. Meanwhile, it modulates the HPG axis, promotes pulsatile secretion of LH, improves spermatogenic microenvironment and stabilizes pituitary-thyroid endocrine signal transmission. It also alleviates inflammatory infiltration of testicular tissue, reduces oxidative stress injury of gonadal cells, widely applied in male reproductive aging, testicular endocrine regulation, hormone epigenetic research and gonadal tissue protection studies.

Main Research Applications:

Testosterone biosynthesis research: Used in cell and animal models to study Leydig cell steroidogenic gene activation and androgen recovery mechanisms.
HPG endocrine axis research: Suitable for exploring pituitary gonadotropin secretion and gonadal feedback regulation pathways.
Reproductive aging research: Applied to investigate testicular tissue aging delay and spermatogenic function maintenance effects.
Gonadal anti-oxidation & anti-inflammation research: For comparative analysis of testicular inflammatory damage and oxidative cell injury relief.

Short peptide epigenetic pharmacology research: Study direct DNA binding gene modulation characteristics of organ-targeted bioregulators.
