Brief Introduction:

Cardiogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide belonging to Khavinson organ-targeted bioregulator series, exclusively for laboratory research. It is extracted and simulated from active fragments of myocardial tissue, capable of penetrating cell and nuclear membranes to bind chromatin and regulate cardiac-specific gene transcription, different from receptor-mediated peptides. It downregulates pro-apoptotic p53 and caspase-3 proteins, inhibits cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by ischemia, hypoxia and aging oxidative damage. It stimulates cardiomyocyte proliferation, optimizes myocardial energy metabolism and contractile function, suppresses excessive fibroblast hyperplasia to reduce myocardial scarring after injury. It also improves coronary microcirculation, stabilizes heart rhythm and relieves age-related cardiac function decline. Widely applied in myocardial ischemia injury, cardiac aging, heart remodeling and organ-specific short peptide epigenetic regulation research.

Main Research Applications:
Myocardial ischemia & infarction research: Used in cell and animal models to study cardiomyocyte anti-apoptosis and post-injury cardiac tissue repair mechanisms.
Cardiac aging research: Suitable for exploring senile myocardial function decline delay and myocardial metabolic balance pathways.
Cardiac fibrosis & scar remodeling research: Applied to investigate fibroblast proliferation inhibition and myocardial scar reduction effects.
Coronary microcirculation research: For comparative analysis of coronary blood flow improvement and arrhythmia relief.
Organ bioregulator peptide pharmacology research: Study chromatin-targeted gene regulation characteristics of cardiac-specific short peptides.
